Alejandro Sorgentini is a founding partner of Victoria Capital Partners, a regionally dedicated private equity firm, and the successor to DLJ South American Partners. He joined DLJMB in 2000 as an Associate in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he was dedicated to the firm’s private equity activities in South America. Prior to joining DLJMB, Mr. Sorgentini held various positions with Motorola Inc. in Argentina, where he focused on the management of the company’s cellular operations in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia. He graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Catolica Argentina and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He served on the board of directors of Cameo Chile S.A., Vitopel S.A. Peñaflor S.A., Trapiche S.A. , Torneos y Competencias S.A., International Health Services Argentina S.A., Prensiplast S.A., PAB S.A. and PABSA S.A. He currently serves as a board member at Grupo Santillana de Ediciones S.L., Energy Fitness Clubs SpA. and Satus Ager S.A.
