Alejandro Fiuza is Chairman of the Latin America Practice Group, Brown Rudnick LLP, and partner at the Boston and New York offices.
Alejandro works on corporate affairs, mergers and acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions (mainly focused on multiple jurisdiction operations), corporate restructuring, cross-borders bankruptcy, corporate finance, antitrust, and international trade. He represents public and private multinationals, Private Equity and Venture Capital funds, consultants and investors, non-profit organizations, and global entrepreneurs in multiple affairs and transactions. Alejandro has been recognized in Corporate/M&A by the Chambers Latin America 2014 for Argentina and in Corporate/M&A and International Trade by the Chambers Global. Before joining Brown Rudnick, Alejandro was partner at K&L Gates LLP, Boston and New York offices, where he worked as a coordinator for the Latin America Business Unit before joining Brown Rudnick. Between 1998 and 2011, Alejandro was a Marval O’Farrell & Mairal’s associate, the most important Argentine firm, where he led the Private Capital, the Venture Capital and the International Commerce groups. He held the position of Professor of International Transactions and Commercial Law at the University of Buenos Aires, and Bankruptcy and Economic Analysis of Corporate Law at the Torcuato Di Tella University.
